Season 2 puts Sand Beasts on the map, and they are where the Union contribution ranking is won. Two kinds spawn, they are worth different amounts, and one of them is worth twice the other.
Desert Pythons are worth 20,000 contribution points and Sandstorm Phantoms 10,000. Rally every Python you can find. A few of them moves you up the ranking faster than anything else in the day.
Knowing one is coming
Watch the bottom-left corner of the screen. When your Union's Vibration meter is close to triggering a Sand Beast, a ? appears with a countdown circle around it.
That is the warning that one is about to spawn, and it is the only notice you get.
Sandstorm Phantom
Worth 10,000 contribution points. Attack and defeat it.
- It attacks and entangles a castle.
- It stops that castle dispatching troops for a period of time.
- Teleporting away removes the Phantom, and forfeits the rewards with it.
Desert Python
Worth 20,000 contribution points. Rally and defeat it.
- It appears near a member's castle.
- It can be rallied and defeated for rewards.
- The castle it targeted may be knocked to another location.
Helping allies convert Heroic Warriors
Look for the light green helmet icon above an ally's castle. The number on it is how many Heroic Warriors are waiting to be converted.
Click the castle and help. Every Heroic Warrior you convert for someone is 100 points to you, gets their troops back faster, and moves the Union along.
Build your own Heroic Warrior Conversion Drill Ground. Without it your troops cannot receive the same help, so the ally who clicks your castle gets nothing and neither do you.
Rallying an Elite Zombie at a new level
The first time you rally an Elite Zombie at a level nobody has done yet, set the rally to 5 minutes. Anyone on Auto Join is put into it whether they are ready or not, and five minutes is enough for them to opt out.
Say two things in Union chat when you do it:
- your current Resistance Level
- the Elite Zombie level you are attempting
That is what another member needs to work out whether joining you helps or wastes their troops.

Pythons move you up the ranking in jumps. Converting Heroic Warriors for allies pays quietly all day, and costs you nothing but the clicks.
